On the night of January 20, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine with 141 strike drones, which were deployed from Millerovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Additionally, a ballistic missile "Iskander-M" was fired at the Sumy region.

The attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.

As of 8 AM, the military had shot down 93 Russian drones across Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions.

Another 47 drones were lost to radar (without negative consequences), two of which flew back to Russia.

Recall that over the past week, Russia launched 550 drones, 660 aerial bombs, and dozens of missiles against Ukraine.

On the morning of January 18, the occupiers struck Zaporizhzhia: an administrative building of one of the industrial facilities was partially destroyed, and residential buildings were damaged. Russians also destroyed the UOC MP Cathedral. There is information about one fatality and 12 injuries.

That same morning, a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv was carried out, with debris falling in the Shevchenkivskyi district: a production building of an enterprise was partially destroyed, and homes, subway entrances, cars, and a main water pipeline were damaged. Three people were killed.
