Премьер Венгрии Виктор Орбан назвал путина справедливым партнером. Он также считает, что война в Украине закончится в 2025 году – переговорами или уничтожением одной из сторон.

The Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán referred to the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin as a "fair partner."

This statement was made during an interview with Magyar Nemzet.

“How will he pressure Putin, with a joke?”: Zelensky criticized Orbán's mediating effortsVladimir Zelensky criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for his mediating attempts, emphasizing that he lacks leverage over Putin.

According to Orbán, the goal of a "sensible" country's foreign policy is to gather friends. “There should be as many countries as possible in the world interested in the success of Hungarians. The new American president likes Hungary. The Chairman of China visited two EU countries – France and us. Our friend is the President of Turkey, our fair partner is the President of Russia, our good friend is the Prime Minister of Israel. There has been almost nothing like this in the history of Hungarian diplomacy,” he stated.

In the interview, the Hungarian Prime Minister also expressed the opinion that the war in Ukraine will end in 2025: “Either it will conclude with peaceful negotiations, or one of the warring parties will be destroyed.”

Recall that on December 11, Viktor Orbán called the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to discuss, among other things, the war in Ukraine.

After the conversation, Orbán began to claim that Vladimir Zelensky allegedly rejected his proposal to establish a ceasefire regime with Russia for Christmas. The Office of the President of Ukraine stated that such a question was not discussed at all.

Recently, it became known that Orbán informed EU leaders that he is not ready to decide on extending sanctions against Russia until Donald Trump's inauguration.
