Ukraine is ready to offer work at defense enterprises to its citizens abroad with exemptions from mobilization.
This was stated by the Minister of National Unity Alexey Chernyshev in an interview with Radio Liberty.
He noted that certain industries in Ukraine are currently in dire need of specialists, particularly in the defense and military-industrial sectors.
“We have a shortage of professionals and specialists, and most of them Ukraine is willing to exempt from military service. That’s why we plan to establish centers that will assist in finding job vacancies in Ukraine and in the countries where Ukrainians are residing. These job centers can provide services and encourage individuals to choose their professional paths in Ukraine. I am confident that Ukrainian men are eager to contribute; they want to be of service. If they are not inclined to continue in a military direction, they can offer their expertise – and there is a specific mechanism for that, which simply needs to be utilized,” Chernyshev explained.
Recall that earlier, Chernyshev mentioned that half of the men of conscription age are willing to return to Ukraine without waiting for the war to end, if the issue of exemptions from mobilization is resolved.
He also assured that Ukraine will not implement any coercive measures to bring its citizens back home.
