The Cabinet of Ministers made amendments to the Procedure for Reserving Military Personnel during the meeting on February 28. In particular, a decision was made to update the criteria for average salary.

This was reported on Telegram by the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

From now on, the amount of the accrued average salary for employees of critical enterprises will be calculated based on a monthly period. Previously, a quarterly calculation method was used.

Other changes include:

  • the total number of individuals subject to reservation will now include employees called up for service after May 18, 2024;

  • the requirement for a 72-hour verification of employee information during their reservation has been canceled for government agencies;

  • the Cabinet has reduced the period for canceling the deferral for employees of enterprises and organizations to 5 days;

  • the Pension Fund and the Ministry of Digital Transformation have been tasked with ensuring interaction between registers within a month to determine compliance with the salary criteria for military personnel.

It is worth noting that the government recently extended the deadlines for the re-reservation of employees. Now all enterprises must confirm their critical status by March 31, instead of February 28.

It was also reported that the Cabinet made changes to a number of documents that define the procedure for military registration and passing the military medical commission in Ukraine.
