The Ukrainian military struck a Russian oil depot in the Rostov region last night and also destroyed an enemy radar station of the Buk-M3 missile system in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday, November 29.
“On the night of November 29, an attack was carried out on the 'Atlas' oil depot located in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out on the premises, with at least two hotspots of fire being recorded. It should be noted that this oil depot had already been targeted by Defense Forces earlier this summer,” the statement said.
The 'Atlas' oil depot is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, which supplies petroleum products to the Russian army.
“In addition, as part of the tasks to identify and eliminate enemy air defense systems, a radar station of the Buk-M3 missile system operated by Russian invaders was destroyed. The target was located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region,” the General Staff noted.
It is worth mentioning that social media previously reported that the 'Atlas' oil depot was on fire near Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, which was attacked by drones at night. Also, earlier this week, a drone strike targeted an oil depot in the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation.
