Киевский апелляционный суд оставил без изменений арест нардепа Александра Дубинского до января 2025 года.

The Kyiv Court of Appeals has extended the detention of People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky until January 2, 2025, who is suspected of treason.

The court session took place at the end of November.

"On November 27, 2024, the panel of judges of the criminal division of the Kyiv Court of Appeals reviewed the appeal filed by the defense against the decision of the Shevchenko District Court of Kyiv dated November 4, 2024, which granted the prosecutor's motion and extended the detention of the accused until January 2, 2025," the statement reads.

As a result of the appellate review, the decision of the Shevchenko District Court of Kyiv dated November 4, 2024, was left unchanged, and the appeal from the defense was denied.

Recall that on November 13, 2023, People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky was notified of suspicion in treason and participation in a criminal organization. On November 14, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv chose the measure of restraint for Dubinsky in the form of detention.

Previously, Dubinsky had already received suspicions—one in August and another in November.

The deputy was informed of suspicion for official forgery related to traveling abroad, as well as for organizing schemes for the illegal exit of conscription-age men abroad.

Additionally, the court seized the property of Deputy Dubinsky.

In September 2024, the State Bureau of Investigations completed the investigation into Dubinsky's treason and that of his accomplices.
