The Cabinet has approved the introduction of electronic referrals for military conscripts to the military medical commission (VVK). Now, military conscripts and reservists will be able to apply for a referral to the military medical commission through the "Reserve+" app.
This was announced by the head of the Cabinet, Denys Shmyhal, along with the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
"We continue the systematic digitalization of the state. Today we give the 'green light' to electronic referrals for VVK for military conscripts," Shmyhal wrote.
The Ministry of Defense noted that now, to obtain a referral for the VVK, it is no longer necessary to go to the TCK and wait in large queues.
"In the near future, military conscripts and reservists will be able to independently submit requests and receive electronic referrals for the VLK in the mobile application 'Reserve+'. The government has made the corresponding changes to the procedure for conscripting citizens for military service during mobilization," the statement said.
It is reported that, initially, electronic referrals in "Reserve+" will be generated for military conscripts who wish to undergo an examination to determine their fitness. However, this feature will later be available to individuals who have received a paper summons for the VVK.
The Ministry of Defense has already collected applications for beta testing of VVK referrals in "Reserve+" and today begins testing the new service with testers. It is emphasized that beta testing is necessary to eliminate any potential errors.
"The next step in the VVK reform will be the integration of the information systems of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health. Starting in the fall of 2025, military conscripts will be able to independently choose a medical institution with a contract with the NSZU for undergoing a fitness examination in Reserve+," the Ministry of Defense added.
Recall that the head of the Ministry of Defense announced that electronic referrals for the VVK will be launched in January of this year. On January 23, the beta test of electronic referrals for the VVK was launched in "Reserve+".
