The majority of Ukrainians (63%) oppose holding parliamentary and presidential elections until the war is over.
These findings come from a February survey conducted by the sociological center "Sociсs," as reported by UP.

Specifically, 63.3% of Ukrainians are against elections during the war, while nearly 29% believe that both the president and the Verkhovna Rada should be re-elected.
About 3% of respondents support the re-election of only the Verkhovna Rada, and less than 1% would like to see only presidential elections take place.
It is worth noting that U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Ukraine needs to hold elections if it wants a seat at the negotiating table. He also claimed that the level of support for Volodymyr Zelensky supposedly stands at 4%.
Furthermore, he referred to Zelensky as a "dictator without elections."
According to data from KMIS published yesterday, 57% of citizens trust Zelensky. The president himself previously mentioned that he is willing to discuss the issue of holding elections, but Ukrainians do not want this during martial law.
“Slovo i Delo” examined the timelines for elections after the lifting of martial law and what is needed to prepare for them.
