On the night of November 29, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using 132 strike drones (Shahed and unspecified types), which were fired from the regions of Millerovo, Oryol, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
This was reported by the Air Forces.
As of 9 AM, the air defense – aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, and mobile fire groups – had shot down 88 drones in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions.
Additionally, 41 drones were lost to detection, presumably due to active electronic warfare measures, and one returned to Russia.
As a result of the Russian attack, infrastructure, vehicles, private homes, and apartment buildings were damaged in several regions, and there are reported casualties.
Recall that on the morning of November 28, Russian forces launched over 180 missiles and drones at Ukraine. According to the Air Forces, there were 12 hits, mostly targeting facilities in the fuel and energy sector.
