Азербайджан готовится к подаче иска против россии в международный суд из-за катастрофы самолета, сообщают СМИ.

Azerbaijan is building a case and preparing to appeal to the international court regarding the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that was shot down by Russia.

This was reported by the local agency APA.

Putin called Aliyev for the second time regarding the plane crash near AktauOn Sunday, December 29, Putin and Aliyev had a phone conversation during which they continued discussing issues related to the Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash.

The agency reports that even after the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan published the initial report on the plane crash, the Russian side continues to maintain a biased approach to the incident.

“It is impossible to understand why the Russian side does not want to deviate from its insistence after such a clear report, written using facts and evidence… The conditions and desires of Azerbaijan are clear, and they have been voiced at the highest level. As mentioned, Azerbaijan also possesses parts of the 'Pantsir-S' missiles that shot down the plane. A case is being formed, facts and evidence are being gathered, and preparations are underway to appeal to the international court. However, the door for dialogue with Russia remains open. Moscow must openly acknowledge its guilt and take responsibility. Otherwise, Baku is ready for the next steps,” the publication states.

Recall that the Azerbaijani plane on the Baku - Grozny route crashed near Aktau airport on December 25. As a result of the disaster, 38 people died out of 67.

According to preliminary data, the plane was shot down by a Russian air defense system. On December 29, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev confirmed that the plane was damaged as a result of ground fire. He accused Russia of trying to “cover up” the incident.

At the beginning of January, he stated that the aviation disaster would not have occurred if Russia had closed the airspace in the Grozny area, adhered to all regulations, and if military and civilian services had coordinated with each other.
