In November, the armed forces of the Russian Federation suffered the highest irrecoverable and sanitary losses since the beginning of the large-scale invasion.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the defense agency, 45,720 Russian soldiers were eliminated in November. This roughly corresponds to more than 3 motorized rifle divisions of the occupying army.
“According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in November, within a single day, our troops 'two-hundreded' and 'three-hundreded' 2,030 enemy soldiers. This is also the highest daily loss figure for the enemy since February 24, 2022,” the report adds.
In addition, in November, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 307 enemy tanks, marking the highest figure this autumn. The report notes that a Russian tank battalion consists of 31 vehicles, and over the last month, the occupiers have lost nearly 10 tank battalions due to destruction and damage. The estimated cost of this amount of equipment is equivalent to 450 million dollars.
Furthermore, in November, the Defense Forces struck 899 enemy armored fighting vehicles, which cost Russia approximately no less than half a billion dollars.
“If we talk about the total losses of the enemy in weapons and equipment in November 2024, their estimated value exceeds 3 billion US dollars. In September and October, this figure was lower. Therefore, the Kremlin continues to spend insane amounts on prolonging the war,” the Ministry of Defense summarized.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,730 occupiers in a single day on Saturday, November 30. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost 742,130 soldiers.
Additionally, it was reported that reconnaissance units struck three expensive radar complexes of the occupiers in Crimea.
