The Kyiv Lukyanivka Pre-Trial Detention Center (also known as Lukyanivske SIZO) is where individuals arrested by the court in Ukraine are held temporarily until a final verdict is reached.

In recent years, this facility has transformed into a VIP establishment: it houses dollar millionaires, deputies, and officials suspected of corruption all under one roof. "Telegraph" decided to take a look at who is currently held in this well-known detention center in Kyiv and the conditions of their stay.

Star-studded Lineup of Lukyanivka SIZO

The impressive roster of individuals in the "cold" detention center is quite remarkable. According to information from open sources, there are so many notable Ukrainians here that they theoretically could form prison gangs based on their professions or interests, similar to what is depicted in American series.

In Lukyanivka SIZO (state institution "Kyiv Pre-Trial Detention Center"), it was reported that there are 25 cells with improved conditions designed for 54 inmates. Currently, 5 spots are available. This information was provided by the acting head of the Department, Colonel of Internal Service Andriy Halai.

It is worth noting that residing in an improved cell costs 14 thousand hryvnias per month. A cell with improved conditions looks like this:

A standard cell looks like this:

Who is in Which Cells

The Lukyanivka SIZO declined to respond to "Telegraph's" inquiry about the conditions of stay for the aforementioned individuals. However, from open sources, we have the following information:

  • Tatyana Krupa is in a standard cell at Kyiv SIZO without improved conditions. The cell is designed for 4 people and has an area of 12.4 square meters, excluding the restroom.
  • Deputy Dubinsky has mentioned that he is held in a standard cell.

No information has emerged regarding other "VIPs."

Previously, "Telegraph" reported that the controversial head of the Khmelnytsky MSEC Tatyana Krupa refuses to pay 500 million in bail. The official kept bags filled with dollars both at home and at work, with a total amount found of 6 million dollars.
