On the morning of Thursday, November 28, Russians launched a missile attack on Ukraine. They conducted launches from strategic bombers Tu-95MS and fired cruise missiles "Caliber" from the Black Sea. Explosions were heard in Odessa around six o'clock in the morning.
UPD. Odessa schoolchildren are being transitioned to remote learning. This was announced by the director of the Department of Education and Science, Elena Buinevich. "Dear parents, I remind you that during alerts, do not walk with children in the streets of the city. Schools, the first shift, will start remotely after the alert. If a child is brought in, we will immediately take them to the shelter. You can come to the kindergarten later. Please inform the caregiver that you will be bringing your child," — the message states.
The local Telegram channel "Odessa INFO" writes that there has been an impact in the city. A photo has been published showing smoke rising from the site of the strike. Preliminary reports indicate that Russians hit the city with "Calibers".
According to monitoring data, the Russians launched up to seven Tu-95MS aircraft into the sky – four from "Oleniy" and three from "Engels-2". The "Caliber" launches occurred from the port of Novorossiysk, where remnants of the battered Russian Black Sea Fleet are hiding.
Explosions were reported in Pavlograd and Kharkiv. Additionally, some missiles were directed towards the western regions.
As reported by "Telegraf", during a UN Security Council meeting, the U.S. Deputy Representative Robert Wood stated that North Korea intends to transfer more ballistic missiles to Russia. Overall, Pyongyang has already supplied the Russian army with a vast amount of munitions.
