The government continues to support citizens who struggle to pay for housing and communal services on their own. However, there are specific conditions for receiving a subsidy, and some categories of applicants may be denied.
"Telegraph" discusses 7 common reasons for denial of this type of social assistance. It is important to note that some cases have exceptions, so the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) reviews each household individually.
It should be noted that a subsidy is assigned when the amount of expenses exceeds the mandatory payment calculated individually for each family based on total income. Even if a person meets the above conditions and is entitled to receive assistance, the amount may be 0 or less due to income considerations.
It is important to know that if a fact that cancels the right to receive a subsidy is concealed in the submitted documents or not reported to the PFU, the subsidy may be revoked, and any excess funds disbursed may need to be returned. Examples include the possession or purchase of a new vehicle.
Previously, "Telegraph" offered a calculation of the subsidy that a person would receive at the minimum wage. If there are multiple members in the family, including minors, the amount of allocations can significantly change.
