In Chechnya, a drone struck the building of the special forces university named after Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The impact caused a fire, but fortunately, there were no casualties.
This was reported by Chechnya's leader, Ramzan Kadyrov. According to him, the fire has already been extinguished, marking the first drone attack on the territory of the Chechen Republic.
"At 6:30 AM today in Gudermes, the roof of the building at the Russian special forces university caught fire due to an aerial drone attack. There are no victims or injured," he stated.
Kadyrov emphasized that the building hit by the drone was vacant and had not been in use for a long time. Photos circulating online show a large plume of smoke rising above the university.
0Following the attack, the university's activities have been suspended, while all services continue to operate normally. The roof of the educational institution caught fire as a result of the strike.
It should be noted that the university is located more than 700 km from the territory of Ukraine and nearly 1,000 km from the areas controlled by our state.
